How To Create Patrol Routes And Assign Checkpoints Using The Patrol Route Feature

Tuesday, April 07, 2020 TimeTec 0 Comments

Introduction
When executing plans for patrolling, the guards will need a  proper route to follow in order to ensure that the essential areas are covered and will be properly protected. The patrol route will indicate which areas the guards are required to guard. For that, the management will need to include a checkpoint(s) into your route so that the patrolling can be run smoothly and accordingly.

Process
Step 1 - Login to TimeTec Patrol, click routes > choose patrol routes

Step 2 - Click add

Step 3 - Fill up the routes ID and routes name

Step 4 - Now you can move the checkpoint into the patrol routes by clicking on the checkpoint

Step 5 - If you have mistakenly shifted the checkpoint, you can also undo it and rearrange it again.

Step 6- After inputting all checkpoints into the routes, you can choose between follow sequence and random scan.

Follow sequence - Patrol checkpoint scans must follow the setup checkpoint accordingly.
Random scan - Patrol checkpoints can be scanned randomly for as long as the guards have checked.

You can set the interval scan and the tolerance period for patrolling to be carried out from the first checkpoint to the last checkpoint.

Interval scan - Expedition time from one checkpoint to another.
Tolerance - A tolerance period if the guards arrive late at the checkpoint(s).
Step 7 -After the configuration has completed, click submit to proceed.

Step 8 - Now, you have successfully created the patrol route and can proceed to assign the checkpoint(s) onto your desired patrol route.
