Job Costing function in Ingress & TCMS V3

Introduction
When using the Job Costing function in the Ingress & TCMS V3, there are situations where you may wish to edit data in your attendance sheet for report purposes. The steps to edit the transaction data in Flexi Job Costing is slightly different compared to the standard procedure.

Benefit
By using the Job Costing feature in Ingress & TCMS V3, the management's work is simplified. This function provides company with data about the job type and the duration it takes to complete the job for accurate assessment and pay calculations.

Procedure

To Edit Transaction Data and Add New Transaction Data:
Step 1
In the Attendance Sheet window, click on the Edit button.

Step 2
Click on the + drop down icon on the left and this will expand to show the Job Cost details.


Step 3
Example: You want to edit 10:21AM to 10:30AM
In the window, click Job List and untick the transaction data that you wish to edit.

Step 4
Input a new value at the original slot to replace it. After clicking Save, the changes will be reflected in the attendance records.

To Remove the Existing Transaction Data in Job Cost:
Step 1
In the Attendance Sheet window, click on the Edit button and click on the + drop down icon on the left to expand the details.

Step 2
Example: You want to remove 01:14PM and 04:28PM.
In the window, click Job List and untick the transaction data that you wish to remove. Once you untick, it will be removed on the Job Cost Details.

Step 3
After clicking Save, the changes will be reflected in the attendance records.

To Add Transaction:
Step 1
In the Attendance Sheet window, click on the Edit button.

Step 2
Click on the + drop down icon on the left and this will expand to show the Job Cost details.

Step 3
Click Add button to add the transaction.
