Introduction
In an organization that has several working shift with a fixed rotational pattern may conveniently adopt this Rotational Roster to adjust accordingly to their requirement. The administrator can assign the respective schedule for each worker based on their respective working pattern.

Benefits
1) Skills are balanced on every shift
Since all crews take equal turns at covering the undesirable shifts (weekends and nights), there is no incentive for all of the senior, more skilled workers to pool together on a single crew.

2) All workers are given equal exposure to day shift.
As crews rotate through their turn on day shift, they are exposed to managers, engineers, vendors and company support personnel.

3) Training assets can be consolidated.
Since all employees rotate through day shifts, there is no need to duplicate training efforts on the other shifts.

Procedure
Conditions that requiring this feature:
1. More than one shift.
2. Each worker is assigned to a specify shift.
3. Each working shift changes periodically.
4. Each worker will change shift rotationally.
5. Changes are periodic.
6. Each working shift has different rest days.

For example, a factory is running under 2 working shifts a day, as mentioned below:
Day shift 09:00 to 21:00
Night shift 21:00 to 09:00
There are 3 groups of workers which are having different working schedules, as stated below.

This is a typical rotational shift-working environment. Therefore, user needs to set up rotational working schedules to suit this environment.

Step 1 • Setting up of rotational clocking schedule.
User needs to use the daily schedule to configure the rotational shift. In this case, we choose “clocking schedule 2” for day shift and “clocking schedule 3” for night shift. Please refer to the diagram below:

Notice a sentence “Qualify minutes before shift starts for rotational shift only”. This is an optional setting in the Clocking Range tab. It is recommended that users are provided with a time period, for example 30 minutes, to allow workers to have enough time to clock-in and clock-out.

Step 2 • Setting up of Group Duty Roster.
As mentioned before, there are 3 working groups for this environment.
Therefore, user needs to set up 3 Group Duty Rosters. In Group Duty Roster, click the button “Auto Schedule” to start configuring the duty rosters.
