How to Edit & Remove Edited Data in Attendance Module for TimeTec TA

TimeTec TA offers an all-in-one cloud-based HR system and applications for more straightforward attendance calculation. Devices and App gather user attendance data to be calculated by TimeTec TA.  However, there are some cases where users sometimes miss their clocking. Hence, you can edit the data in the attendance module. Edited data will change user attendance data to “Edited” status and lock it from any changes in the attendance module.

This article explains how to edit and clear any edited attendance data and clear the “Edited” attendance data status.

Edit User Attendance

1. Go to TimeTec TA > ATTENDANCE > Attendance module

2. Choose the user attendance data date to be edited > Click on the “Edit” button

3. Fill up the edited time IN and OUT > Click submit 
Remark: The total working hours and overtime will automatically be calculated based on the edited IN and OUT time.

Remove edited attendance data and attendance “edited” status

1.Inside the Attendance module, go to Manage > Generate

2. Select the user > Choose the date > Untick “Keep User Modified Data” > Submit
Remark: The attendance generated will only clear user-edited attendance data but not the user attendance remark.
