TCMS V3 Software Update v2.1.0.12 (18-05-2017)



FingerTec newly released TCMS V3 fixed 2 minor bugs in the previous version.

1. Fixed wrong calculation of Overtime when applied flexible break and break paid


In this release, you can set the flexible breaks in Out and OT columns. The result is shown in the picture below:



2. “Weekly Attendance Listing” will show more than one employees on the same page.
In this release, Weekly Attendance Listing report will show many users report in one page. In the previous version, one page report will only show one report for one user which could waste of a lot of papers when customer print it.

TCMS V3 v2.1.0.9 New Release ( Date: 02.05.2017 )



1.    Added a new FingerTec Cloud Center migration feature


FCC is a web platform that stores FingerTec terminals' information and data securely on a cloud server. In the latest release, the FCC Migration Wizard feature is made user-friendlier, as it can connect to the web service login. It also has data selection feature, allowing users to migrate from FCC to Ingress software. This replaces the previous Select User and Import tab in this wizard.


The user will need to get the Username and Password by logging in to fcc.fingertec.com > click the “Username” at the right upper corner of the window > User Profile > scroll to the bottom “Ingress / TCMS v3 Login Detail” for the Login Username and Password.


2.    Added Database Terms & Conditions

In this feature contain the Terms and Condition of the database. Please note that FingerTec will not be responsible for the unwarranted adjustments and changes to the database by any unqualified personnel of customers and repairing the said database could incur a cost on the customer’s part.

3.   Added the following fields in Batch Update User: Designation, Privilege, Gender, Pay Class, Pay Type, and Pay Rate.'



4.   Added search function in Device Module



5.   Added new advertisement size (400x218 and 300x232), in Terminal Multimedia Management



6.   Added hints on Terminal Multimedia Management Resolution

These hints explain the resolution compatible for devices. The details are as follow:
LCD (320 x 210) - Q2i, R3, TA100C, TA200 Plus
8” (800 x 600) - I-Kiosk 100 Plus
320 x 232 - Face ID 2
400 x 218 - TA100C (FMM)


7.    Added "Work Code Description" option when export Audit Data



8.    Added option to split Terminal ID into new column when export Attendance Data


This option is available at Scheduling & Attendance Tab > Attendance Sheet > Export > Template Configuration.


9.    Added Total Absent column in Export Attendance Summary



10.    Added Export Short Hour & Leave Type in UBS Payroll



11.   Write "TIMING" file when download transaction log after delete

This feature contains all the transactions that already been deleted at the terminal. It will store to the TIMING file as a backup.



To restore the file, go to Scheduling & Attendance Tab > Import Transaction Log. By default, the TIMING file located at C:\Program Files (x86)\FingerTec\FingerTec TCMS V3\TCMS V3\TIMING.



12.   Enhanced Import User from USB and Export User to USB mechanism

The mechanism of USB data management has been enhanced for a better data transfer.

13.   Removed Leave Summary in Detailed ETC Report



In this release, there are some features that have already been fixed:

Fixed print report in Landscape issues
Fixed user maximum password length from 9 to 8
Fixed User ID showed square when download user via USB
Fixed incorrect value exported for Leave in days when Export Attendance Details

TCMS v3 Software Update (v2.0.3.2)


For the first quarter of 2017, we have released the latest version of TCMS v3 (v2.0.3.2) that is packed with 14 extra new features. We have also fixed the errors that was found in the previous version of Ingress, as listed below:

New Features:

 1. Configure Alternate Restdays in Group Duty Roster
You can now configure alternative restdays in Group Duty Roster where any days of the week can be selected as restdays and can be applied on all weeks of the month.
2. Revamp Import User From File on User Module
The layout of the Import User from File module has been improved where you can directly match more information from the USB File such as Email, Phone, Address, etc.

 3. Revamp Database Backup Folder Selection UI
A newly-designed window will be prompted when selecting folder for database backup. This provides easier navigation on the folder path as compared to the previous Window.
4. FingerTec Webster Migration Feature
The latest version of TCMS v3 offers a new database migration option for Webster users. By logging in into Webster database server, users can migrate the database seamlessly into TCMS v3.
5. Import Attendance Photo from USB in Attendance Module
With this option added into Attendance Module, photos captured during verification can now be imported from USB file into the software.
6. Import Remark/Workcode on Attendance Module
New Remark or Workcode can be imported into TCMS v3 directly from the transactions downloaded into the Data Audit List.

7. Display Face Template Count on User Module
Other than fingerprint count, face template count is also available in the user overview in User Module.
8. Display remark field on User Module
User could do Remark for employee which can be found under Event Tab in the User Module.
9. Enhancement on Add New Schedule in Attendance Module
There is now a ‘wizard’ to configure the clocking schedule in Attendance Module. By clicking ‘More’ at the bottom left corner when adding a new schedule, users can directly construct a complete clocking schedule with the settings on clocking time, rounding, break, and overtime, just by answering a few questions to match your company’s attendance and clocking policy.
10. Enhancement on Print Multiple Weeks in Weekly Wages Report & Weekly Staff Duty Roster in Report Module
Weekly reports such as Weekly Wages Reports and Weekly Staff Duty Roster can now be printed in a new format where information is arranged in a more orderly manner.
11. Enhanced Export User info Fields at Export User in User Module 
The latest TCMS v3 provides more flexibility with more User Info fields to be selected and exported to file in User Module.
12. Add Current Report Option with Selected Options to Report Scheduler
This features offers a convenient way to set up report to be used in Report Scheduler. After selecting the desired report type and format, users can directly add it into the report list in Report Scheduler.
13. Persian language is available!
Persian or Farsi is a language predominantly used in Iran, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and some parts of Iraq. And now TCMS v3 is made available in Persian. If you want your language to be available in TCMS v3, let us know. Email at info@fingertec.com to request.
14. Configure System Settings without any Activated Terminal
Previously, you must have at least a device connected to TCMS v3 before you could configure System Settings. Not anymore! Now you can configure System Settings even without connecting any device to TCMS v3.

TCMS V3 Latest Release (v2.0.2.8) - Comes With More Flexibility



TCMS V3 is FingerTec’s latest time attendance software officially released in August this year has gone through a lot of improvements for user convenience. The latest release version v2.0.2.8 comes with more flexibility for users to choose from. The download link to the latest version is available here.


1. Define Your Time Range in Flexi Clocking Schedule 
Previously Flexi Clocking in Scheduling wouldn’t accept time range definition because the flexi clocking time is supposed to be flexible, meaning that a staff can clocking at anytime he/she pleases. Upon the feedback we gathered from the market, some wants more control on the flexibility by applying a certain time range. For example, a staff is allowed to do flexi clocking between 9-5pm, and if the staff extends the clocking outside of the time range, the company will not accept the flexibility. Based on that requirement, clocking times can now be inserted in Flexi Clocking Schedule in the latest release of TCMS V3. However, it shouldn’t worry those who do not want to define times in Flexi Clocking Schedule; your way works too. 



2. “Capture the first and last records for attendance” only in Flexi Clocking Schedule.

Again, when dealing with Flexi Clocking, TCMS V3 will record every clocking activity of the staff involved. And the latest release provides an option for customer to ignore clocking activities between the first and the last attendance records. When you tick this option, the software will only show the first and the last clocking times. For example, if a staff clocks in at 9:59am and then he goes out 11:55pm, the 11:55pm will not become his out time. When he comes back at 1:30pm, this new time will be recorded as his latest out time, and the cycle continues. If you don’t want to deal with cluttered attendance data, and you only want the In and Out time, you should consider to enable this option.


3. Device User Report is Now Available

The number of users in FingerTec devices changes from time to time, depending on a company’s activities and its staff strength. When a staff is transferred from branch A to branch B, the sets of devices he or she can access to will be changed accordingly. Therefore, the latest release of TCMS V3 presents a Device User Report, a report that lists down users stored in the selected device. You can also sort the list by User ID or User Name. From this Device User Report, you can see clearly the users available in each device and if remedy is required, you can do it accordingly.


4. OFIS Fingerprint User Enrollment Made Easy 

Previously, enrollment through OFIS TA required you to click on each user profile and perform fingerprint enrollment for that user only. If you need to enroll another user, you need to find his/her user profile and repeat the process. The latest improvement on OFIS TA allows admin to register fingerprints by selecting User ID from the list, as shown below. Once the enrolment for one user is done, admin just needs to choose another User ID and carry on from this one page to get things done. Isn’t that convenient?


 5. Option to “Enable/Disable Username & Password Authentication” is Now Available 

This option allows users to decide whether or not to perform login authentication when launching TCMS v3. FingerTec will not be held responsible for any unfortunate occurrences due to your choice to disable login authentication.

New Release

Ingress Software Update (v3.0.7.18)


For this quarter, we have released the latest version of Ingress (v3.0.7.18) that is packed with 12 extra new features. We have also fixed the errors that was found in the previous version of Ingress, as listed below:


 New Features

1. We introduced new option in Flexi Schedule known as “Capture the first and last records for attendance” that allows Ingress to capture only the first and last verification and ignore any verification happened in between, by users.



2. Added "Device User Report" in Report to produce a list of users in the selected device(s). You can also sort the list by User ID or User Name.



3.  Added “User ID Input Format” in System Settings to allow numeric or alphanumeric User ID.



4. In Clocking Range, we’ve added a feature known as “Enable attendance records from selected devices only”. This feature lets you select different terminals to accept users’ attendance records during different time slots or attendance column. For example, during ‘In’ time, only transactions from Device 1 will be recorded as attendance and during ‘Out’, only transactions from Device 2 will be considered as attendance and etc. This feature is introduced to provide users with better terminal and data management whereby users will be disciplined to use dedicated terminals for different purposes.


  
5. In Data Audit List, you can select multiple options for Work Code, Check Type and Verify Type to make searching and sorting of data easier and more convenient.




 
6. Changed Card No. option from mandatory to non-mandatory when adding user by batch. By default, Card No. field is now non-mandatory in Batch Create User. You may register a card for each user after creating them in batch.



7. When you select United States to be the country in the System Settings Module, the default schedule will be set as “Flexi” when you add a new clocking schedule. For other countries, the default work schedule is ‘Weekly’.




8.  This update will remove all attendance from a user once the expiry date of that particular user is due. This update will remove all attendance from users once the expiry date is due. For example (see figure below), the attendance of User 101 will be removed from attendance module after 07/11/2016.



9. Display Short Hour in Attendance Sheet Report. In Attendance Sheet Report, employers can now see the total of short hour(s) an employee has accumulated.


 
10. Enhanced Leave type display, in Attendance Sheet report with "In/Out Clocking" option



11. Enhance OFIS enrollment user fingerprints in batch by clicking on Registration in OFIS TA tab (as shown below), you can register fingerprints for selected users from a list of user IDs.



12. Supports up to 30 Leave Types
Ingress can now support up to 30 leave types under Attendance Tab.

1. Fixed calculation rules for holiday in USA payroll not saved properly on Attendance Module
2. Fixed MYOB not exported leave on Attendance Module
3. Fixed Permanent Door Open Close Timezone not uploaded for Stand Alone Device

5. Fixed Username under department that did not sort correctly
