How To Regulate Employees’ Leave Via Leave Restriction In TimeTec Leave

Leave management is an important aspect that needs to be carefully taken care of in every organization in order to ensure that the business’s operational flow is not disturbed. This is a quick guide on how to limit the daily leave requested by the employees and ensure that the company business continues to run smoothly through a high-volume period. Below are the steps provided:

1) In TimeTec Leave, go to Leave Settings > Leave Restrictions

2) Select the organization or department that you want to assign with the Leave Restriction setting and under Organization Structure > click the Drop-down Option > Filter.

3) After selecting the specified department > click Add Leave Type, you will then need to configure the 3 listed options as shown below:

i) Leave Type – All deductible leave will be listed here in the Leave Type setting. Select which Leave Type setting that you want to limit the number of employees in taking during the crucial periods.

ii) Max Daily Request – Insert the maximum value for the leave daily request.

iii) Date range: Assign the date in which the rule will be applied on.

User Application After Leave Restriction Rule Has Been Applied
If the maximum daily request on that specified date is reached, the user will then be prompted with a message as shown below during the Leave Application process thus preventing the user from taking any leave.
