Customizing External Siren For Face ID 2 & Face ID 3

Face ID 2 & Face ID 3 (FEM 800) from FingerTec now supports External Schedule Bell with a minimum of 5 seconds for trigger time. Read more for the latest Face ID firmware download link and steps to upgrade for the feature. 

The latest Face ID firmware supports external siren with a minimum of 5 seconds for trigger time instead of the previous minimum of 30 seconds. Below are instructions on how to apply the new feature onto your Face ID 2 or Face ID 3 device. 

Step 1
Download the latest Firmware from tips.fingertec.com as per the image below and update your device:


Step 2
Update the Schedule Bell settings on the device as per the steps below:

For Face ID 2 Menu > Bell > Select Schedule Bell > Insert your bell trigger date and time followed by the trigger period.

  
For Face ID 3 – MenuDate/Time > Bell > Select Schedule Bell > Insert your bell trigger date and time followed by the trigger period.


If you are required to change the external siren trigger time, you can also configure it by using FingerTec Terminal Functions Update Tool which can be downloaded here.

    i'm it eng. of a company,
    i need hr employee to run this software to get all punches without run as administrator
    how to do that?

      For your kind information, you need to run the software as admin so that all the function from the software can be used and managed without any problem.

      If you not run the software as admin, we cannot confirm that all the function from software can be used perfectly or not.
